India leg of Diageo global pitch underway; account size pegged at Rs 100 crore

Spirits major Diageo initiated its global media pitch a couple of months ago, as reported by exchange4media.

The India leg of this major global pitch is currently underway in Bangalore, media agencies from WPP , Dentsu Aegis Network, Omnicom and Publicis are all part of the pitch process.  

The current media agency on the account is Mindshare from the GroupM umbrella.

While the account size globally is estimated to be upwards of upwards of $2 billion, the account size for the India account is pegged at Rs 100 crore.

Diageo is a global leader in beverage alcohol, some of its popular brands include, Johnnie Walker, Crown Royal, J&B, Buchanan's and Windsor whiskies, Smirnoff, Cîroc and Ketel One vodkas, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray and Guinness.
