IMPACT unveils Top 30 Under 30 list 2016

The fourth edition of IMPACT’s ‘Top 30 Under 30’ initiative to pick the 30 most talented individuals under the age of 30 in Indian Creative, Media and Digital agencies was unveiled  last night .  While this year’s list has representation from all three streams, what’s interesting to note is that high achievers in Digital have an overwhelming presence. While most of the winners are above 27 years of age and have found pride of place in the list on account of their work and experience, the jury was most impressed by seven youngsters who are aged 25 and below, and their outstanding work.

THE SELECTION PROCESS

A high-powered jury led by Raj Nayak, CEO of Colors as Jury Chair, met in Mumbai on January 10, 2017 to select IMPACT’s Top 30 Under 30 for the year 2016. The other members of the jury were Arun Iyer, Chief Creative Officer, Lowe Lintas; Manish Bhatt, Founder Director, Scarecrow Communications; Tanmay Mohanty, Group CEO, Zenith India; Prashanth Challapalli, Chief Integration Officer, South Asia, Leo Burnett; Hephzibah Pathak, Global Clients' Director, Ogilvy & Mather India; Shavon Barua, Managing Partner, PHD India; RajDeepak Das, Chief Creative Officer, Leo Burnett India; Harsha Joshi, Executive VP- Group Trading, Dentsu Aegis Network; Lara Balsara Vajifdar, Executive Director, Madison World and Mandeep Malhotra, Founding Partner & CEO, The Social Street.

The jury was presented with a database of 136 shortlisted profiles obtained through online submission of entries. The Jury members first brought this list down to 50 in the first round of judging, and then deliberated on every name in the shortlist before finally arriving at the final list of winners.
