Manas Mishra has put in his papers at Mediaedge:cia. He has joined Mudra Connext as Executive Vice President. He will take charge as National Head, overseeing its operations across six cities of India and would be based in Mumbai. Mishra brings in 13 years of experience and would be working with Chandradeep Mitra, President, Mudra Max.

Speaking on Mishra’s appointment, Mitra said, “I am thrilled to have Manas on board as the Head of Connext. His experience and professional capability will surely help our teams deliver superior communication solutions to our clients. I am confident of his capability of taking Connext to the next level of professional excellence.”

On his new role, Mishra said, “Having understood Connext and the promise of Mudra Max, I believe it will connect with advertisers, media partners and, most importantly, consumers, through its work. I am keen on taking charge of this mandate and will definitely help strengthen the team to do some really good work for our clients. Thus, in time, success will speak for itself.”

An MBA from NMIMS, Mishra had earlier worked across communication groups like WPP, IPG and Publicis Groupe. He began his career with Contract Advertising, and subsequently moved to Starcom in 2000. In 2003, he moved to Initiative Media as Associate Vice-President and in 2005 he shifted to Mediaedge:cia as General Manager to head its Mumbai operations. He has had the experience of handling and launching many national brands across diverse categories. Mishra is also a member of industry bodies like the IRS Technical Committee of MRUC.
