The Indian Cricket League (ICL) has appointed Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) to handle all the design work for their project. VGC will also be involved in designing mascots, collateral and merchandise for the ICL, which is an Essel Group venture.
Gaurav Seth, Marketing and Communication Head, ICL, said, “It is for the first time that a concentrated and focussed effort is being made to promote domestic cricket and showcase new and upcoming talent to the country. We are pleased to have VGC as our partner in this endeavour as they bring a strong and distinctive expertise to the table. The ICL and its city teams will sport a funky and ultramodern look and feel designed to appeal to modern India, and build immediate connects with our consumers.”
On the association, Atul Hegde, COO, VGC, commented, “The task of creating a comprehensive brand identity for a sports brand is both challenging and exciting. VGC will be instrumental in designing the official logo of ICL and creating and crafting all the individual team identities.
