HPCL signs Sania Mirza to endorse brands

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, India's second largest oil marketing company, has signed tennis sensation Sania Mirza to endorse its retail brands.

The company today signed an agreement with Sania and Globosport, a Bangalore-based celebrity management company.

According to Mr S. Roy Choudhury, HPCL's Director (Marketing), the company believes that Sania will provide its brands with the energy required to compete in the market place.

Sania is currently ranked 77th in the World Tennis Association rankings.
