HLL-MindShare Fulcrum Team wins Gold at Unilever Global Media Awards

HLL-MindShare Fulcrum team India was awarded the highest honour at the Unilever Global Communication Channel Planning (CCP) awards held at Amsterdam on June 12, 2002. They won the Gold for their entry on Fair and Lovely, the flagship skin care brand of Hindustan Lever Limited.

The Unilever Global CCP Awards are an annual event, which recognize and reward the brands and agencies that have used Communication Channels (Media) most innovatively and effectively to build brands. Entries from across the World compete for this award. Apart from the Gold won by HLL-MindShare in India, MindShare also won the Silver and Bronze for their entries on Dove (USA) and Lipton Cold Brew (USA).

Communication Channel Planning is a strategic process that starts with a brand's marketing goals and in a seamless manner dovetails budgeting, channel mix and a 360 degree plan that intersects the consumer where it matters most.

The Indian entry for Fair and Lovely won the 'Gold' for outstanding targeting of different audiences through unique and innovative channels. The MindShare Fulcrum team in Mumbai used their knowledge and insights on the category and consumer to provide 360degree communication channel solutions for growing the brand.

Says Vivek Rampal, Business Head, Skincare, HLL, "The framework of CCP has helped us in not only finer targeting and hence better insights but also out of the box solutions at each and every step."
