Jaipur-based Shakun Advertising and Prachar Advertising have bagged the media duties for Hindware following a multi-agency pitch. The size of the business is pegged at around Rs 5 crore. While Shakun will handle the print part of the account, Prachar, which has been handling the TVC part of the business, will continue to do so. Earlier, BEI Confluence was handling the print media duties. The creative duties are being handled by Madison Communications Delhi and Modus Delhi.
The brand ‘Hindware’ commands more than a third of the domestic sanitaryware market share. Even on the international front, its parent company, Hindustan Sanitaryware Industries Ltd (HSIL), is the leading exporter of sanitaryware from India. HSIL has an extensive, nationwide network of more than 800 dealers and 20,000 sub-dealers.
Hindware Deputy Manager-Marketing, Reena Vashist, said, “I am happy to announce that Shakun Advertising (for print) and Prachar (for electronic media) have been awarded the media duties for Hindware. They are the best in terms of buying, media planning and services.”
She further said that a TV campaign would be breaking in six months’ time. The outdoors would be done by different vendors.
Confirming the win, Gokul Maheshwari, Director, Shakun Advertising, said, “We will be handling the print part of the advertising of Hindware. We will use all the main dailies all over India as well as all lifestyle magazines, which cover include home, décor, furnishings, etc.”
