Havas Worldwide elevates Nakul Sharma, Tirtha Ghosh as Creative Leads

Havas Worldwide has elevated Nakul Sharma and Tirtha Ghosh to Creative leads of its Gurgaon operation.

The duo joined Havas Worlwide from McCann Delhi in June, 2014. Sharma has worked at Bates, Grey and Leo Burnett before a long stint with McCann and has worked with brands like Coke, GM, Nescafe and LG among others. Ghosh spent time at Contract and Equus before he joined McCann. His portfolio includes work on Coke, GM, Nescafe and NIIT amongst others.

Nirmalya Sen, Chief Executive Officer, Havas Worldwide India, commented, "Nakul and Tirtha have earned their stripes in the last nine months with the agency, not just with the quality of their work, but with their leadership. Making them a great hit with our people and with our clients. It was just a matter of time, therefore, before they took on the mantle of creative leadership of the office. I wish them great success in their new role."

On their elevation, Sharma said, "The mandate given to us by Nirmalya and the management is to dare to go where other agencies fear to tread. We'll be fearless and are itching to raise the bar." Ghosh added, "It's going to be a fun ride. Full of thrills, chills and wins. We will take risks and come out on top."

Havas Worldwide India is also expected to make an announcement in some time on the appointment of their new Chief Creative Officer for India.

The group released the Little Hearts online-only campaign, #BreakSomeHearts, early this year and is on the path to make many more of its brands available on the digital platform
