Priyank Vashisht, General Manager – West at Hansa Events & Activation, part of the RK Swamy Hansa Group, has moved on. He has started his new venture, christened K & V Media, along with Abdullah Khan, a veteran in the space of entertainment marketing and production two months’ back.
Based in Mumbau, K&V Media offers an entire gamut of integrated marketing solutions to its clients, which includes creative and media consultancy, BTL activations, events and rural marketing.
On his move to set up this venture, Vashisht said, “This is the best time to enter the market with an IMC offering, as tight advertising budgets are forcing companies to rework their communication spends and invest more in the BTL marketing space. Over the past few years, clients have been looking for personalised attention, looking to work with a smaller set-up where business could be managed by senior resources.”
He added, “Our teams of qualified professionals are experienced in advertising, events, promotions, BTL activities and retail merchandising. Our skills are honed in handling brand campaigns, commercial and corporate events, conceptualising marketing strategies, field execution and retail management, print production, audio visual, stage craft and in-film promotion, and association.”
“The company has bagged two clients – Jotun Paint Company and Jagran Social Welfare Society. And we are handling other clients on a project basis. For Jotun Company, we are handling BTL activation. For Jagran Social Welfare Society, we are working on Leed Metropolitan Society TV commercial nationally all over India,” Vashisht informed.
He further said, “We are planning a turnover of Rs 15 crore in terms of billings by the end of the year.”
Prior to Hansa, Vashisht has held senior positions at several agencies, including Consulting Partner with LINOpinion, Lintas IMAG and Principal Consultant with Collage – the brand consulting division of RK Swamy BBDO. He was heading Mumbai Collage for two years and later Hansa Events as GM for Western Region.
