Hanmer Events partners Mumbai International Boat Show

Hanmer Events, a division of Hanmer and Partners Communications Pvt Ltd, has been chosen as the event partner for the Mumbai International Boat Show, being held for the first time ever in Mumbai from February 22 to February 25, 2007.

Hanmer Events has bagged the mandate to manage the entire gamut of high profile events related to this event, which seeks to facilitate global and local boat builders to interact directly with prospective buyers. The agency would be handling the on-ground exhibition at the Bandra Kurla complex and the on-water display at the Gateway of India during the Mumbai International Boat Show.

The show will see participation of 150 exhibitors from across the globe and is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors. There would also be a series of high profile entertainment events on most of the evenings during the Boat Show.

Sujay Chouhan, Director, Mumbai Boat Show Pvt Ltd, said, “We are delighted to have Hanmer Events as our partners, who believe in this project as much as we do. We are confident that Hanmer Events will ensure a successful event, which will help us place it as a permanent fixture on the Mumbai events map. The Mumbai International Boat Show is an important event that will enhance the image of Mumbai on the global map. Mumbai now gets added to the likes of London, Dubai, Cannes and Sydney, the cities which boast of the best boat shows in the world.
