Hakuhodo's Woon Hoh joins ADFEST 2017 as Jury President, Direct Lotus and Promo Lotus

Woon Hoh, Chief Creative Officer at Hakuhodo Asia Pacific, will join ADFEST 2017 as Jury President, Direct Lotus and Promo Lotus.
Currently based in Bangkok, Woon Hoh hails from Malaysia and has held leadership roles at several award-winning agencies in cities across Asia. He is currently on a mission to make Hakuhodo offices in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia as famous as Hakuhodo Inc. in Japan, renowned as one of the region’s most creative agencies.
He said, “It is an honour to be invited as Jury President for Direct Lotus and Promo Lotus. ADFEST celebrates 20 years of success in 2017 and I’m looking forward to being part of this year’s festival. I know we will see many great works that will raise the creative bar at the festival even higher. It will be exciting.”
Woon Hoh graduated from the Graphic Design School of Fine Arts in San Francisco in 1992, and has since led agencies such as Darcy Beijing, Hakuhodo Indonesia and Hakuhodo Asia Pacific in Bangkok.
“Woon understands the cultures and customs of many different markets in Asia, so he’ll bring an interesting perspective to his role as jury president of Direct and Promo. His regional experience makes him the perfect candidate to help us celebrate ‘20 Years of Diversity’, the theme of ADFEST 2017,” said Jimmy Lam, president, ADFEST.
Woon Hoh has led his team at Hakuhodo Asia Pacific to win many major awards at the One Show, New York Festivals, London International Awards, AWARD, Citra Pariwara, Kancils, Longxi Award, Bangkok Art Directors' Awards (B.A.D), ADFEST, Spikes Asia and Cannes.
ADFEST 2017 will take place at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, Thailand from March 22 to March 25.
