Grey Worldwide Chennai adds three new businesses to its kitty

Grey Worldwide Chennai has recently bagged three new accounts – Gemini Communication Ltd, SKM Porna Rice Bran Oil, and Cuticura Talcum Powder and Deodorant. The cumulative size of these businesses is pegged at around Rs 10 crore.

Gemini Communication Ltd, one of the leading wireless technology providers, is also a pioneer in RFID technology in India, a technology that’s poised to replace the bar code system. SKM Porna, a popular rice bran oil brand, currently retails in Tamil Nadu with active plans of rolling out to other markets.

Grey Chennai, which is already closely associated with the Cholayil Group, working on their popular personal care brand Medimix, has now won the opportunity to work on Cuticura, a part of the same group, with its recent and successful extension into the deodorant market.

Sarita Srikanth, General Manager, Grey Worldwide, Chennai, said, “The past three months have been very active. We’ve been focusing on new businesses and it’s paying off. The new businesses have added diversity to our portfolio. Grey Chennai has a young, vibrant and extremely talented team that we are really proud of.”

She further said, “The Chennai team is in exuberant spirits and raring to go thanks to the Silver Lion at Cannes for the TCI campaign created by our Associate Creative Director Priya. It was a wonderful achievement, both for her and the agency as a whole. Winning at the Cannes is every agency’s dream across the world. And when you get an opportunity to create international award winning work, sitting in Chennai, it really makes us all feel good.”

It may be noted that the TCI campaign has won in every ad fest that it has entered in as well as three merits at the prestigious One Show.
