Millennium Spire has appointed Grey Worldwide to handle its creative and media duties following a multi-agency pitch that involved four agencies. Millennium Spire is a green field company under the Millennium Global umbrella and is focused on private equity investments in real estate. The company is investing over $1 billion in India, and has currently deployed investments across three projects – one in Coimbatore and two in the NCR.

Ashish Bhalla, MD, Millennium Spire Ltd, said, “Grey is one of the leading global strategic and creative agencies. And in India, Grey has consistently done some remarkable brand building work over the years. We believe in Grey we have found the right partner who would help us take our vision forward.”

Reacting to the account win, Rupam Ganguly, Vice-President, Grey Worldwide, said, “It is a great win for us. We are looking forward to help launch Millennium Spire in India. We are working actively to meet the expectations that the company has of us.”

This is the second account win for Grey Worldwide this year after the new business of Jindal Saw. Jindal Saw, a part of the Jindal Group, is expanding to new areas of growth. Their business operates on four strategic units – large diameter pipes, seamless tubes, DI (Ductile Iron) pipes and the US operations. The US operations markets the products manufactured by the strategic units.

Millennium is an independently-owned alternative investment management company established in 1994. As on January 1, 2008, their assets under management stood at $13.3 billion. The company has offices in London, Guernsey, Geneva, Miami, Singapore and Delhi.
