Goafest participation from Pakistan will be bigger next year: Sarmad Ali: Goafest 2013

Sarmad Ali, MD, Jang Media Group and President, APNS spoke to exchange4media about the honour of being conferred with Sitara-e-Imtiaz, the third highest civilian award of Pakistan. He also talks about his first visit to Goafest and the intellectual variety he is witnessing in the fest.

In a free-wheeling chat, Ali talks about the participation quotient and explains how visa issue between the two countries and lack of marketing for the fest in Pakistan acts as a deterrent in enhancing participation in such events.

Ali ensures that the participation from Pakistan in Goafest will be higher next year and he would try to maximise the reach of the fest in Pakistan.
