GoaFest 2009: Media Abbys shortlist announced

Following round one of the judging process for Media Abbys, the shortlist for the final round were announced on March 17. There are 77 entries shortlisted for the final rounds across 13 categories. The Media Abby Awards will be held on April 3 during the GoaFest 2009.

This year, there are 34 judges to evaluate the media entries across 13 categories, which include Best Use of Television, Best Use of Cinema, Best Use of Newspapers and Magazines, Best Use of Outdoor and Ambient Media, Best Use of Special Events and Stunt\Live Advertising, Best Use of Radio, Best Use of Internet and New Media, Best Use of Sponsorship, Best Use of Branded Content, Best Use of Mixed Media, Youth Marketing, Vertical Marketing, and Pro-Bono Marketing.

Some of the major clients that have been shorlisted across the categories include Vodafone, Axe, Colgate, Sunsilk, and Virgin Mobile, among others.
