GoaFest 2007: Date for entries extended to March 5

Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), organisers of GoaFest 2007, has announced the extension of deadline for submission of entries to Monday, March 5, 2007. The event, to be held on April 20 and 21, 2007, will also recognise talent in the media space with the newly constituted Media Awards, along with the awards in the Creative category. Even the number of categories for Creative Awards has been increased.

Commenting on the judging process, Arvind Sharma, Chairman of AAAI GoaFest Committee, said, “We will continue to follow the judging process which we had in the previous year, wherein about 25 senior creative people will judge the entries.”

The organisers have promised a festival that will be on a par with international advertising festivals. The schedule for the event, which will be out soon, is filled with top-class seminars and exhibitions along with the awards nights over the two days in an open-air auditorium on the Cavelossim beach.

The full details including call for entries brochures as well as entry forms can be downloaded from the festival website Goafest.com.
