Frank Simoes Advertising gets in makeover mode

Frank Simoes Advertising (FSA) has forged a strategic alliance with K factor, owned by Shivjeet Kullar, to bring about a strong creative direction. The agency also has a new Creative Director in Vivek Shinde, who has worked for companies like Triton, Lintas, Bates and Overture.

These changes follow close on the heels of the appointment of Naveen Saraswat as CEO of Frank Simoes Advertising in the last quarter of 2004. Saraswat moved from Rediffusion DY&R where he was VP-New Business. The prime objective of the agency is to establish a strong position for itself in the industry by helping to build brands through developing and implementing innovative ideas, 360-degree communications and cutting-edge creative work.

The agency has recently bagged the accounts of Atithi Devo Bhavah, a Ministry of Tourism project, and the new residential project of AEZ Group. The Atithi Devo Bhavah project was assigned to the agency in December 2004 and the AEZ account in January 2005.

Said Saraswat, "Both the Atithi Devo Bhavah and the AEZ accounts were won in multi-agency pitches. As far as the sizes of these businesses are concerned, the Ministry of Tourism project is worth Rs 5 crore up to March 2005. From April 2005 the account will be much larger. The AEZ business is substantial; however, the exact numbers are still being worked out."

The agency handles clients like Indian Oil, Escorts, Pizza Hut, etc. With the two new accounts, FSA's billings of Rs 25 crore plus will go up substantially, Saraswat informed.
