The One Show finalists list has another addition – Everest Brand Solutions. The agency’s entry, ‘Graveyard’, has been selected for the 2006 One Show Awards, which will be held in New York on May 10.
A very excited Prateek Bhardwaj, Creative Director, Everest Mumbai, confirmed the same, while informing that the entry was finalised in the ‘Public Service - Outdoors and Poster (Single) category. The entry is a social message against smoking and the client in question is Cancer Patient Aid Association.
The team that developed the ad comprises Nishant Jethli, Sunder Iyer, Mansha Chatwal and Delhi office Head, Anant Pal Singh. The agency stuck posters of a funeral service in progress on the ceilings of various smoking lounges. “The idea was to give the feeling of being inside a coffin while smoking,” explained Bhardwaj.
