Everest Brand Solutions bags new businesses; seeks to double growth next year

Everest Brand Solutions has been adding new clients to its kitty in Delhi and Mumbai. Sharing his plans, D Rajappa, President, Everest Brand Solutions, told exchange4media, “We’ve had a 30 per cent growth so far this year. We are aiming to double the growth next year. Also, we’ve have had a 40 per cent growth on the new businesses this year.”

He further said, “In Delhi, we have won the business of CNN-IBN and IBN7, and also KS Oils, which owns and markets Double Sher and Kalash brands of mustard oil in the East, North-East and Northern India. We have also bagged the account of beer brands Thunderbolt and Golden Peacock belonging to the Mount Shivalik Breweries Group.”

“In Mumbai, we have won the business of Nirmal Lifestyle, which is a commercial, residential and retail player with footprints in Mumbai and Western India. We have also bagged the Writer Corporation business. Writer Corporation is into relocations, information management, cash management, logistics and premium properties. We have strengthened our 25-year old relationship Zandu Pharmaceuticals with new brands like Nityam in addition to the existing Pancharisht. Everest has also done path-breaking work for companies like Parle (brands like Mango Bite, Kacha Mango Bite, Poppins, Hide and Seek, Parle Milano),” he added.

Commenting on the business strategy, Rajappa said, “We handle our businesses with a 360-degree approach, along with below the line and above the line activities. This helps us emphasise on and strengthen the brands that we handle. We see the growth coming from our existing clients. We don’t mindlessly pitch. We are choosy about the kind of business that we currently handle.”

Rajappa further said, “We are more focused about the growth plans of our clients, which help us grow equally with them. Apart from this, we want to get out of the supplier mentality. For the past one year, we have been focusing on turning things around and getting the agency back in the reckoning.”

Everest Brand Solutions has recently set up an office in Chennai, which is in addition to the full-fledged offices in Delhi and Mumbai and the liaison offices in Banglalore and Kolkata.
