Euro RSCG has recently concluded its global managing committee meeting in Mumbai. George Gallate, CEO, Euro RSCG APAC, who is in the country at present, informed exchange4media.com that amongst some of the plans marked for India in the near future, Euro RSCG intends to launch its brand consultancy unit – Euro RSCG Leap – in India soon.
Euro RSCG Leap was launched in New York two years back. At present, the agency is on the lookout for a head, who would report to Suman Srivastava, CEO, Euro RSCG India. This unit would pitch for clients independently. Gallate said, “It is a very interesting part of our business. Given our strength in strategy, and the understanding of connecting brands with consumers, this unit will contribute positively to our operations here as well.”
Srivastava said, “We are looking for an independent head for this division. However, we would also be involving seniors from international Leap offices in the operations here.”
Gallate explained that since Euro RSCG had a financially integrated operating model, Leap would also operate under the Euro RSCG brand umbrella. Another area that would see attention in the year is the operations of Euro RSCG Life, which globally is a major pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing unit. Even as the unit has been in India since 2000, Euro RSCG has recently placed Sorab Sapori as Head of this unit to focus on Euro RSCG Life.
