Euro RSCG has won the creative duties for two of the forthcoming channels of BAG Films & Media Ltd – entertainment channel E24 and news and current affairs channel News24. Sources close to the development have pegged the account size at around Rs 20 crore. Euro RSCG won the account through a multi-agency pitch in which six creative agencies had taken part. The creative pitch was divided in two parts – strategy and creative.
Confirming the development, Amit Ray, Chief Strategy Officer, BAG Films, said, “This was a unanimous decision taken by us. We were impressed by Euro RSCG’s creatives. The channel business is an everyday business and evolves with time. Hence, it was more of selecting a partner, rather than a campaign. The agency has shown maximum hunger to understand where we are coming from and what we want to do. It was much focussed and we hope that it will come up with innovative and good work. We would be very innovative and try to connect with as many audiences as possible.”
