Equus adds ColorBar business to its kitty

Equus Red Cell has been assigned the ColorBar business following a multi-agency pitch. The account size couldn’t be ascertained at time of filing the report. ColorBar is a US-based brand of colour cosmetics, marketed and distributed in India by ColorBar Cosmetics Pvt Ltd, a part of KK Modi Group of Companies. Law & Kenneth is the incumbent agency on the business.

Commenting on the win, Swapan Seth, CEO, Equus Red Cell, said, “The brief that I got from ColorBar was that it was a tremendously fast growing brand that represented the new age woman with an international perspective. The task was to expand the audience for the brand.”

He further said, “This category automatically warrants a 360 approach since there is great personal interface between the brand and the buyer. That aside, with the opening of some flagship stores, there are a great deal of activation opportunities.”

“The BTL work is already underway. We expect ATL activities to commence soon,” Seth added.
