Cadbury was adjudged Client of the Year at the EFFIEs this year. The brand won eight awards, including the Grand EFFIE of the Year. With six Silver awards, one Bronze award and the Grand EFFIE, Cadbury attained a grand total of 85 points.
Cadbury’s campaigns such as ‘Cadbury Mishti Shera Shrishti’ (designed by ABP One) and ‘Taiyaari Jeet Ki’ (designed by Ogilvy and Mather), and ‘Have you felt silk lately’ (designed by Ogilvy and Mather) were among the winning entries. Grand EEFIE was awarded to the brand for the ‘Kuch meetha ho jaaye’ journey of Cadbury Dairy Milk from 2005-12.
Following Cadbury was STAR India with 75 points and Bharti Airtel with 55 points. STAR India bagged four Gold, one Silver and one Bronze awards. Satyamev Jayate campaigns and Fox Crime - The Photograph Story were among two of the winning campaigns of STAR India.
Bharti Airtel’s ‘Har ek friend zaroori hota hai’ campaign designed by Taproot India, stood out amongst all the nominations, winning three Gold awards.
EFFIEs 2012 rolled out with all the glam and glitz on December 4 in Mumbai. The event saw a surprising number of 15 Gold awards being given away this year.
