Donear Suitings opts for Thought Bubbles following multi-agency pitch

Donear Industries Ltd has appointed Thought Bubbles, the agency led by Manoj Motiani, for the advertising duties for Donear Suitings & Shirtings. The win comes in a wake of a multi-agency pitch. The ad spend is estimated in the region of Rs 8-10 crore. The media part of the business will be handled internally by Donear Industries Ltd.

Confirming the win, an elated Motiani said that it was the sheer belief of the client in Thought Bubbles to get newer and fresher perspective to the brand that tipped the decision in the agency’s favour.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that actor Vivek Oberoi has already been roped as the brand ambassador. It may be recalled that in 2007, Donear had signed on cricketer Yuvraj Singh as the brand ambassador. The brand had then taken the innovative approach, using state-of-the-art-technology to develop newer products.

One of the well-known brands in India in its product category, Donear primarily caters to the middle and premium segments with high quality apparel fabrics that are woven with natural fibres, synthetic fibres and various blends.

Thought Bubbles was set up in 2009. Manoj Motiani is one of the several young Indian creative heads, who left their multinational agencies bitten by the entrepreneurial bug to set up their own ventures.

Following the win to revamp popular dancer and performer Shiamak Davar’s brand identity, the Mumbai-based agency has received a further boost with the Donear Suitings & Shirtings business in its kitty. The agency is a creative network for advertising, design and marketing and is currently handling clients such as 21 Fahrenheit - Ice Lounge, DSP BlackRock Mutual Funds, Indiabulls Real Estate, United Way Mumbai, Designo Furniture Studio, Big Cinemas, and Armstrong Construction, among others.
