Design Bridge joins hands with Brandscapes to build brands in India

Brandscapes Worldwide Consultancy has entered into a strategic collaboration with Design Bridge, an international branding agency, to deliver brand strategy in India. Brandscapes was set up by Pranesh Misra in June 2008, who had quit Lowe Worldwide to set up the consultancy.

As part of the collaboration, Brandscapes Worldwide will be working closely with Design Bridge Singapore. It may be noted that Design Bridge has been in India for over 20 years in association with some brands that operate globally like Unilevers, Cadbury, Samsung, and Saralee, among others.

Commenting on the partnership, Pranesh Misra, Chairman and Managing Director, Brandscapes Worldwide, said, “Our partnership with Design Bridge is a perfect match. Our strategic intervention can unlock powerful insights for Design Bridge to turn into world-class creativity and brand experiences for Indian companies and multinationals operating in the Indian market.”

William Goodenough Bt., Group Executive Chairman of Design Bridge, said, “Our ambition to work alongside some of the world’s fastest growing consumer brands means we need better understanding of the many different consumer behaviour and cultures in the thriving Indian market. Our partnership with Brandscapes gives us both the insight and strategy consultancy to enhance the brand design work of Design Bridge Asia.”

He further said, “The time for the collaboration had to be just right. Our focus is now on India and we have been evolving over the last 20 years. Hence, our intention with this partnership is only to continue to deliver our expertise.”

On whether Design Bridge had plans launch in India independently, Goodenough informed there were no such plans at present, but if the need arose, they would go for it. He said, “My aim for this year is on working out the partnership and then decide the next game plan.”

By combining their expertise, Design Bridge and Brandscapes bring experience of working globally for companies such as The Tata Group, Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, The Economist, Asia Pacific Breweries, Moet Hennessy Asia Pacific and Unilever.

Brandscapes Worldwide is a marketing data analytics and insight based consulting company founded in 2006, with offices in Mumbai, London, Atlanta and Singapore. The company provides services in the areas of marketing data analytics to insight consulting and measuring return on marketing investments.

Design Bridge is the international branding agency that creates and develops brands. Founded in 1986, with offices in Singapore, London and Amsterdam, Design Bridge currently operates in over 40 different countries.
