Delhi Ad Club quiz to attract industry professionals on single platform

For over 10 years in the running, the Delhi Advertising Club (DAC) has been organising advertising, marketing and media quiz, focused to bring together the industry professionals on a single platform. This year’s quiz will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at the Banquet Hall of Hotel Ashok, 5.30pm onwards.

With Sunil Gupta, ex-Executive Vice President and General Manager, HTA and ex-COO, RK Swamy/BBDO, will be the quizmaster, the two-hour-long show will see a participation of about 25 teams. Out of these, nine will be selected on the basis of a written paper handed by the quizmaster. A winner and a runner-up will be selected after completion of additional quizzing rounds.

VK Chopra, President, DAC, said, “Participation is open to all the agencies and companies in the marketing, advertising arena. Some of the participants – already on the run up are JWT, Lintas, Starcom, McCann Erickson etc”. He added, “The questions will focus on advertising and marketing apart from general questions. We will have industry professionals as audience.”

One team shall comprise three persons with participating fee of Rs 4,000 per team. The interested companies/agencies can send in their entries till January 7, 2005.
