Delhi Ad Club puts the spotlight on design & digital scene in India

The Delhi Advertising Club hosted two seminars on ‘Design a New Tomorrow’ and ‘Digital Scene in India’ as part of its special event on February 28, 2014. The event was part of professional activities being organised for the members of the Club, who are professionals from advertising agencies, print media, outdoor media and electronic media.

The gathering was addressed by HS Paul, President, Delhi Advertising Club, following which the members of the Club offered their respects to the Late Dr Vishwanath, Former President of DAC.

Rajesh Aggarwal, motivational speaker and success coach, spoke about how to feel more energetic, more positive and complete a job in the best and easiest way. He has been working in the field of Personality Development since 1994 and was conferred with the Best Trainer Award by Arvinder Singh, the then Education Minister of Delhi in the year 2006.

Tarun Nigam gave a presentation on ‘Digital Scene in India’. Nigam has over 19 years of experience in media planning & buying. He has handled marketing and sales at UTV and spent nine and a half years with in WPP (Mindshare, Maxus and MediaCom) and Starcom MediaVest Group under the Publicis Groupe. Nigam has also serviced Samsung, Aircel, Educomp and Makemytrip at Starcom.

A few stalwarts of the advertising profession, including Harish Kapoor (HK Advtg), Sushil Pandit (The Hive), Chabi Roy Gupta (BEI Confluence), RC Tanwar (Aaj Hindi Daily), and Chander Mohan (Jupiter Advertising) were honoured on this occasion.

Paul appreciated the efforts of Mukesh Gupta of Graphisads, Vijay Chopra, Vice President, Surinder Rana, Naresh Sachdeva, T Sriram Gopal, members of the Executive Committee, besides other Board Members of the Delhi Advertising Club for their support for the event.
