DDB Mudra’s Pratap Bose in Promo & Activation Jury @Cannes Lions 2012

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2012 is in the process of finalising its jury teams for various categories. Pratap Bose, COO, DDB Mudra Group would be representing India on the Promo & Activation Lions category.

Nick Worthington, Creative Chairman, Colenso BBDO New Zealand, is the Promo & Activation Lions Jury President this year. In a prepared statement, Worthington said, “I’m honoured to be chosen as the president of the Promotion & Activation jury. I think it's one of the most exciting categories with some of the best work in the world happening in non-traditional media.”

Apart from his position as the COO of DDB Mudra Group, Pratap Bose is also a member of the company’s operating board. He drives the vision and growth strategy for the Group comprising DDB Mudra, DDB MudraMax and Mudra. He also oversees DDB MudraMax and is responsible for the 16 specialist units in the Engagement and Experiential space. He joined DDB Mudra Group from Ogilvy & Mather India, where he had worked for 17 years in various capacities and went on to becoming its youngest Chief Executive Officer in 2006.

In the last two decades, Bose has been the most awarded person in India in the Promotions, Activation, Outdoor and Media categories with more than 500 awards.

Commenting on his appointment to Cannes Jury, Bose said that he is looking forward to the judging experience at the world’s largest communications stage. He added, “This category is especially exciting for me because in my opinion, the best and biggest ‘cut through ideas’ happen in this exciting category.”

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
