Creativeland Asia & McCann Worldgroup nominated at The FAB Awards 2012

The FAB (Food and Beverage) Creative Excellence Awards 2012 are the only international creative awards programme focussed solely on creative work done for Food and Drink brands. This year, the awards attracted over 3,600 pieces of work from over 60 countries.

Two agencies from India have emerged as strong contenders at the FAB awards this year. The first is Creativeland Asia with strong Nominations in Best Use of Media, Social Media and Best Use of Technology for Hippo Plan-T. The second is McCann WorldGroup India with a very strong Nomination for Happy Indians Range in Packaging Design.

The winners will be announced at the Awards Dinner at The Hurlingham Club in London, on May 29, 2012.

Entrants included global agencies of BBDO, Leo Burnett, McCann, JWT, TBWA, Ogilvy, AKQA, R/GA, DDB and Publicis amongst others. Design Houses such as Lewis Moberly, Design Bridge, Pearlfisher, Landor, Turner Duckworth and Elmwood too showcased their projects.

Advertiser projects included work from Coca Cola, PepsiCo, Mars, Arla, Heineken, McDonald’s, Kit Kat, Pedigree, Campbell’s, Doritos, Wimpy’s, etc.

The FAB Awards cover various categories such as Integrated, TV, Posters and Outdoor, Ambient, Press, Radio, Direct, Sales Promotion, Collateral and Point of Sale, Guerilla Marketing, Experiential Marketing, Mobile, Interactive, Online Advertising, Social Media, Best Use of Technology, Best Use of Media, Viral Campaigns, Advertainment, Advergames, Websites, Packaging, Logo Design, Brand Identity, and Retail Environment.

The FAB Awards for 2012 was supported by Contagious Magazine, The Gunn Library, AdForum and AdBikes Media.
