Creative Week NYC set to kick off on May 10, 2010

Stage is set for the Creative Week in New York. A celebration of creativity in advertising, design, digital media, music, film and the fine arts, Creative Week NYC, an initiative of The One Club, is taking place from May 10-16, 2010.

Creative Week began when The One Club saw that the 3,000-5,000 creative professionals it drew to New York each year for its One Show Festival presented an excellent opportunity to help New York’s varied creative organisations find an appreciative and influential audience.

Since its inception in 2009, Creative Week has had a wide range of partners such as Google, The Paley Center, Shoot Magazine, NYC & Co, and the NY Photo Festival, among others. Creative Week invites all organisations involved in the creative life on NYC – educational, arts, design, advertising, music, service organisations and so on – to take part. Events may include, but are not limited to, lectures, presentations, demonstrations and parties. The format is wide open.

Events are independently planned and staged by participating organisations. Creative Week and its events are aggressively promoted on its website, outlined in all One Show Festival programmes and released to the media by The One Club and other partnering organisations. The One Club has also announced their partnership with, who will feature Creative Week and selected events on its site and in mailings.

Featured events this year include the Shoot Online’s New Director’s Showcase, the NY Photo Festival and events by The Paley Center, The Brooklyn Art Project, Behance and more. For more information, or to register an event, one can log on to
