Three agencies have bagged the media mandate for the Global Incredible India campaign account, commissioned by the Ministry of Tourism. Senior sources close to the development said that the print and electronic campaign would break in Europe, America and APAC. Crayons Advertising has won the European TV and Print campaign, while Zenith Optimedia has bagged the Pan European TV campaign. Ashok Creatives, the specialised tourism and communication agency of the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), will be handling media duties for America and APAC region’s print and TV plans. The account size is upwards of Rs 100 crore.
The agencies that had taken part in the pitch included Grey Worldwide, Ashok Creatives, Crayons, and Zenith Optimedia, among others. The contract is for one year after which the agencies would be reviewed again.
