Crayons Advertising Delhi bags creative and media duties for China Airlines

Crayons Advertising Delhi has bagged the creative and media duties of China Airlines. The account size is pegged at Rs 2 crore. The incumbent agency was Ogilvy & Mather.

Commenting on the win, Crayons Advertising, Managing Director, Kunal Lalani, said, “We are looking forward to working with China Airlines. We will start servicing the account from next month. We will be working on the brand as a whole.”

China Airlines, Corporate Communication Head, Pritam Ahluwalia, said, “We are happy to appoint Crayons Advertising to handle the creative and media duties for China Airlines. We really liked their presentation, structure and services.”

He added that this was the annual campaign of 2006. The agency will be working on brand building as well as some products. The brand building exercise would go on till December 31, 2006. The contract has been signed for one year.

China Airlines is the renowned carrier from Taiwan. In the Indian Operations we have 3 weekly passenger flights on Delhi-Taipei-Delhi route with A330-300 brand new aircraft. There are connecting flights from Taipei to Vancouver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Houston, Seattle, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Okinawa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Brisbane etc. Also there are 6 weekly cargo flights with 747-400F - 4 flights land in Delhi on Taipei - Europe route, 2 flights land in Delhi on Europe -Taipei route.

It was founded on December 16, 1959. Presently we serve 60 cities in 23 countries in America, Canada, Asia, Europe, Oceania. Taipei and Kaohsiung are our hubs in Taiwan. Our feet has 66 aircraft, including 48 passenger jets and 18 Freighters with an average years of aircraft 4.9 years (average fleet age is 4.9 Years).
