Countdown begins for unveiling of IMPACT's 50 Most Influential Women List today

It’s that time of the year again when we wait with bated breath for the unveiling of IMPACT’S 50 Most Influential Women in Indian Media, Marketing & Advertising List. In its fifth edition now, the list for the year 2016 will be unveiled later today at an invitation-only event in Mumbai.

The list, a respected property in the industry, recognizes women across media who have not only done path-breaking work, but have also helped in redefining the dynamics in their respective fields.

The Chairman of the jury that put together the list is Sam Balsara, Chairman and MD, Madison World. The other Jury members includeAmbi MG Parameswaran, Advisor, FCB Ulka, Arvind Sharma, Chairman, Cheetahsoft Technologies, I Venkat, Director, Eenadu,Rohit Gupta, President, Sony Pictures Networks, Sandeep Goyal, Chairman, Mogae Group, Shireesh Joshi, COO, Strategic Marketing Group, Godrej IndustriesSunil Gautam, Founder & Partner, Pitchfork Partners, Timmy Kandhari, MD, Sapphire Professional Services and Vikas Khanchandani, Director, Aidem Ventures.

Last year, Kirthiga Reddy, Managing Director of Facebook India, had topped the list, followed by Rama Bijapurkar, market strategy consultant & business author and Tanya Dubash, Executive Director & President, Marketing, Godrej Group of companies.

IMPACT’S special edition of 50 Most Influential Women in Media, Marketing and Advertising is a step to acknowledge the achievements of women who give a whole new meaning to the words power and influence. The contributions of these women both on the industry and their peers have been immense.  These women are a source of inspiration to countless others who aspire to emulate their qualities.
