Cottage Industries empanels seven agencies

A leading source for Indian handicrafts, Central Cottage Industries Corporation (CCIC) of India, commonly known as Cottage Industries has taken seven agencies on its roster for a period of two years. The empanelled agencies include Crayons, Newfields Advertising, Aakar Advertising, Centum Advertising, Mode, Span Communication and Promodome. While Newfields, Aakar, Centum and Mode have been retained by the company, Crayons, Span and Promodome are the new additions on the roster.

Though no official confirmations from the department could be obtained, sources close to the development have confirmed the news to exchange4media, while agencies have also confirmed their empanelment by CCIC. It is understood that a total of 20 agencies were presented to the client, but only seven agencies could make it to the end.

It may be recalled that exchange4media had reported the pitch call last year in the month of April. The presentations were concluded in the month of November. Post empanelment, the responsibilities for the agencies would include providing services in the fields of publicity, design, printing, PR activities etc.
