Collage Real Estate, an affiliate of Somdutt Builders, has assigned its creative business to Contract Delhi. The pitch process, which began in April this year, saw the participation of three agencies – Dhar and Hoon, Publicis and Contract.
Explaining the reason behind awarding the mandate to Contract, Vivek Srivastava, Director Marketing, Collage Group, said, “We chose Contract because of their historically strong advertising planning skills and innovative creative. The business has the potential to bill Rs 4 crore per annum in media.”
Commenting on the win, Surajit Roy, Senior Vice-President, Contract Delhi, said, “We are very excited to work with Collage because in the real estate development field, the client is no different than any other FMCG or consumer durable organisation. It approaches marketing with the same thoroughness.”
Collage is working on a couple of projects, which includes a mixed-use development project in Amritsar, in addition to the Family entertainment centre at Jalandhar. It is also in an advanced stage of planning a premium township near Chandigarh. These projects collectively put together are valued at Rs 1,200 crore.
Briefing on the kind of work that the agency will be doing for the company, Srivastava, said, “Contract will be helping us evolve the Collage Group’s corporate identity and also help develop communication strategies for the target audience, which includes investors, brokers, financial institutions, retailers, brands and retail customers.”
The company will be scouting for its media AOR after rolling out its corporate identity and project campaign.
