Contests2win in talks with Yahoo!, MSN for business partnership

The contests and gaming site Contests2win (C2w) is in active negotiations with mega portals Yahoo! India and MSN for a ‘business partnership’.

According to the market analysts, an acquisition of the site by a major portal could be on the cards. The company sources were unwilling to comment on the exact nature of the potential partnership, but ruled out a capital investment in the company by either of these players for the moment.

The company is used by several FMCG brands in their online branding strategies. Its closest competitor is the ICICI Ventures-funded Hungama.com.

C2w was established by entrepreneur Alok Kejriwal and has placed 40 per cent of its equity with Venture Capital investors.

The site has offered its brandbuilding services for products of major corporates like Britannia, P&G, Coke and Nerolac among others.
