COMFED empanels four agencies

Bihar State Co-operative Milk Producers’ Federation (COMFED), with plans to expand the milk and milk products business under its brand name ‘Sudha’, has empanelled four agencies to look after its creative and media duties. The agencies that are on board include Goldmine Advertising, Crayons, Sharad Advertising and Siddhartha Advertising.

The agencies have been empanelled after a multi-agency pitch initiated by COMFED. Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to exchange4media.

COMFED markets milk and milk products under Sudha, a major brand in Bihar. Milk products that are produced under the brand name are ghee, ice cream, lassi, misti dahi, peda, paneer, kalakand, rasogulla, gulab jamun, plain curd, ledikeni and balusahi.

Sudha brand is also present in Jharkhand, parts of Orissa, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and the North East.

The company plans to increase its base in terms of procurement of milk from 11 lakh litres to 44 lakh litres per day in next five years and increase its market base to other states. In the near future, the company is planning to launch its products in the Delhi market as well.
