Preeti Verma, Junior Art Director, Rediffusion DY&R, Mumbai, has qualified for the International Clio Awards, after 12 young finalists from around the world were announced for the advertising competition.
In its fourth year, the global competition has called for Gold finalists under the age of 30 to be paired into six teams at the annual international event ‘Clio Festival’, which will be held from May 9-12 at Florida. The finalists would have to respond to a creative brief within 24 hours.
A group of renowned jury members will provide feedback on preliminary presentations before selecting three teams to present their ideas. The event sponsor is Adobe Systems. The winning team will be announced at the Clio Content and Contact, Print, Interactive, Design, Innovative and Integrated Campaigns Awards Gala on May 11.
The other finalists include Dustin Ballard from The Richards Group Texas; Ben Bateson from Poulter UK; Tim Green from DDB Sydney; Graeme Hall from DDB London; Stef Jongenelen from FHV BBDO Netherlands; Pavel Vrzheshch from Leo Burnett Ukraine; Felipe Manalich from O&M Chile; Andrew McKechnie from JWT Singapore; Carlos Murad from Leo Burnett Colombia; Ben Sampson from Clemenger BBDO at Sydney; and Ibraheem Youssef, Junior Art Director from Bos at Canada.
