Clio Awards 2011: McCann Worldgroup leads Indian shortlists

The CLIO Awards has announced its 2011 Shortlist. The CLIO Awards’ Conference and Award reception are currently scheduled for May 19, 2011, at the Essex House and American Museum of Natural History, respectively.
There are eight entries in total from India where McCann Worldgroup has three shortlists, Rediffusion Young & Rubicam Pvt. Ltd.and Leo Burnett India have two each and JWT India has one entry.
McCann Worldgroup has been shortlisted in OOH, Design and Direct Mail category for Fire Scooter (OOH) and Enslaved Children ‘Ceramic Plate’ (Design and Direct Mail).
Leo Burnett India has shortlists in 2 categories; Heinz KetchupSketch Up (print) and Bajaj Hand Blender Pleasure of Mixing (radio).
Rediffusion Young & Rubicam Pvt. Ltd also has been shortlisted in two categories Rasna Inside The Box Thinking and Dr. Raj Brahmbhatt, Marriage Counsellor (Design)
Founded by Wallace A. Ross in 1959. The CLIO Awards honors work in a broad range of mediums, including Interactive, Direct Mail, Content & Contact, Film, Print, Out of Home, Innovative Media, Integrated Campaign, Radio, Design and Public Relations. Student work is also recognized in Interactive, Film, Print, Out of Home, Innovative Media, Integrated Campaign and Design.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
