Chevrolet Aveo extends its contract with Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan

GM India has extended its commitment for endorsing the Chevrolet Aveo with brand ambassadors Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan. The duo will continue to remain brand ambassadors for the Chevrolet Aveo sedan and the recently launched hatchback, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA.

Research has shown that Rani and Saif have very effectively connected with the audience as they draw a perfect parallel with the brand by suitably embodying the dimensions of performance and aesthetics, substance and style of the Aveo sedan and hatchback versions.

Ankush Arora, Vice-President – Sales, Marketing and After Sales, General Motors India, said, “The Aveo carlines comprising the Aveo sedan and the U-VA hatchback are new generation cars with class leading performance, amazing looks, style and great mileage. Hence, we were looking at ambassadors who not only connect emotionally with the audience today but also embody the two dimensions of performance and aesthetics, substance and style plus class and exuberance. The search had brought us to Saif and Rani, two new generation and very successful stars of recent times. Together they have dramatised the superiority of the Aveo carlines over the competition and have brought alive the positioning of the Aveo and U-VA as an embodiment of great performance and immaculate aesthetics. We believe the brand and the personalities have derived mutual benefit from the association in the past and hence, we continue with their endorsement of the Chevrolet Aveo carlines, going forward.”

Anisha Motwani, Director-Marketing, General Motors, said, “We will be doing 360-degree advertising, including print, TVC, outdoors, Internet and below the line activities. We are doing print campaign for Chevrolet Aveo U-VA. The TVC is breaking soon. We are doing online campaigns for Internet. We are doing mailers, banners etc.”
