Chennai-based agency be positive 24 has diversified with their entertainment and marketing division. The new division is currently adopting a 360-degree approach to film promotion, publicity and branding.
The new division will be catering to films produced mainly in South India, with plans for expansion in the future to other sectors in the entertainment business. be positive has already handled the marketing and promotion of Tamil films like ‘Poi Solla Porom’ from the UTV Production, ‘Kadhal Na Summa Illai’ and ‘Madras Pattinum’.
Speaking on the new ventures, Abhishek D Shah, Managing Partner, be positive 24, said, “We want to break the mould and get films treated as a brand. We want to engage people beyond the three hours of the film.”
Sandeep Makam, Managing Partner, be positive 24, felt, “Being film fanatics, this could be the best way we could be involved with the making of films, and what better way than doing the publicity and promotion of films.”
The agency is also planning to venture into ad film making and film production and has got projects in the pipeline, some of which will hit the floors around the end of this year.
