Cheil Worldwide appoints Nishi Suri as COO South West Asia

Cheil Worldwide announced the appointment of Nishi Suri as its Chief Operating Officer, South West (SW) Asia effective from January 2017. Best known as a change maker, a globalist and a strong brand leader, Nishi will be based in Gurugram overseeing the company’s operations whilst driving new business growth and strategies.

The senior appointment represents the company’s direction and focus in South West Asia and its objective to grow the agency by developing both Samsung and local brands. This is the first time the agency has a women leader at its helm in India.

Speaking on the appointment,  John Koo, Managing Director - Cheil South West Asia, said, “Over 25 years, Nishi has built an impressive track record of strategic and operational accomplishments and nurturing talent in leadership roles in running global brands and agency management. Her wealth of experience across the world will be a valuable asset as we continue to accelerate growth through our vision and our strategic actions. I am delighted to welcome her to the Cheil family.”
