Carat launches in Perth

Independent media specialist Carat launches in Perth this week with certain clients and staff of Mitchell & Partners transitioning to the Carat brand. Alan Matthews, currently Managing Director of Mitchell & Partners Perth, will now preside over Carat. He will remain across the Mitchells operations in Perth as well.

The launch strengthens Carat’s presence through Australia and New Zealand, now operational in the cities of Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland and Perth with billings in excess of $1 billion per year and employing over 300 staff.

Commenting on the development, Luke Littlefield, CEO, Aegis Media Australia and New Zealand said, “We have enjoyed great business success in the Western Australian market and the launch of Carat in Perth is a testament to the momentum we have built. Our clients and people will benefit from this move and we look forward to the opportunities that it will bring.”

Alan Matthews added here, “Migrating certain Mitchells clients to the Carat brand in Perth will give them access to a global network with proprietary planning and research tools that will enhance the way we do business.”

The Mitchell & Partners brand will remain in the Perth market.
