Carat Media Services struck good last week bagging two accounts: Chateau Indage and Nomarks. Confirming the news to exchange4media, Group CEO, Carat, Charles Berley Jenarius, said, "We are excited over the two wins. We have been assigned the media duties for the Nomarks brand of Ozone Ayurvedics in Delhi, while our Mumbai office will handle the media duties of Chateau Indage, the wine company."
Ranjit Chougule, Managing Director, Chateau Indage Estate Vineyard, said, "Carat is the AOR for our company. We selected Carat because of the kind of expertise they use for their worldwide media planning. They will also be responsible for developing our marketing plans."
Chougule informed that the total ad-spend of Chateau Indage is upwards of Rs 12 crore. Last month, the creative duties for the wine company had been assigned to Saatchi & Saatchi, Mumbai. Primarily, Carat will be responsible for planning and releasing. "As far as the break-up between creative and media is concerned, all I can say is that we are working on a completely different understanding with both of them," he said.
P S Sandhu, Vice-president, Ozone Ayurvedics, told exchange4media, "The creatives will be done in-house. Carat has been assigned the media planning and brand strategy duties for Nomarks, our flagship brand. The total ad-spend of our company for this fiscal is Rs 12 crore, of which 90 percent goes into Nomarks. Media buying will be done in sync with Carat."
Sandhu explained that they chose Carat as their media company purely on the basis of their international and national credentials.
"Carat CEO Charles (Janerius) has handled Nomarks earlier and we are quite comfortable with him being there," Sandhu observed.
