C1X  Inc. appoints Rammohan Sundaram as MD & SVP for APMEA

Silicon Valley-based advertising and marketing technology company C1X Inc. has appointed Rammohan Sundaram as its MD & SVP for APMEA. C1X is a two and half year-old start-up and has recently closed its Series B investment of 8.5M USD and is getting aggressive to launch its full stack programmatic solution across all emerging markets of the world.

C1X’s latest round was led by Venture LaboInvestment of Japan with participation from their existing investors UTEC.

C1X is the only company, which has a full stack solution in the programmatic space for DSP, SSP, DMP, and an Ecommerce Ad-server, which in India has been successfully deployed at Shopclues. C1X is also a leader in the latest header bidding technology, along with several proprietary innovations in header technology.

Mukundu Kumaran, Founder & CEO of C1X Inc. said, “In our endeavor to make the adtech space transparent, we are successfully deploying product enhancements at a brisk pace across the entire stack of offerings every day and we are now ready to showcase the same outside of the US market where we have established our successful integrations with most DSP and SSP showing tremendous savings for clients and yields for publishers. To that endeavor we have been talking to Ram for a while and it is indeed great pleasure that he has accepted to lead the region for us given his vast experience in the space and the network he has, which is exactly what C1X requires at this stage of growth. I am excited to partner with Ram and look forward in taking product capability across the APMEA market, which now is in safe hands.”

Commenting on his new role Sundaram said, “The programmatic space is increasing its share of voice with clients and a premium offering has always been close to my heart right from my days as an entrepreneur and while there are a lot of offerings in the market, C1X addresses the entire eco-system through its full stack offerings. I am excited about what we are addressing as a market and also the differentiated product offering that is on the table, which strongly influenced my decision to take charge of the APMEA Market. I am confident and look forward to working with some of the best minds in the business at C1X, a lot of whom are Ex-Yahoos, which is an added advantage given our alum connect.”

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
