BMW India initiates media pitch

German auto major BMW India has initiated a media pitch, confirm industry insiders. The current agency on the account is Vizeum from the Dentsu Aegis umbrella. The agency won the account in 2014 on the back of a multi-agency pitch and the account is currently handled out of its Delhi office.

BMW India is a 100 per cent subsidiary of the BMW Group and has its headquarters in Gurgaon (National Capital Region).

With its three brands, BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce, the luxury carmaker has firmed up its presence in the premium sector of India’s automobile market. Apart from automobiles and motorcycles, the BMW Group's activities in India comprise financial services for its premium clientele. Till date, the BMW Group has invested 4.9 billion (€69 million) in BMW India and Rs 6.4 billion (€98 million) in BMW Financial Services India.
