BJP strengthens its hold on BARC's advertisers' list, leads Top 10 Brands and enters Top 10 Advertisers

Bharatiya Janata Party not only continued to top BARC’s Top 10 Brands Across Genres but also entered BARC’s Top 10 Advertisers list at eighth spot for the sixth week (February 4-10) of 2017’s viewership and ad insertions.

The Top 10 Brands saw quite a few entrants including Airtel Payments Bank, Dettol Toilet Soaps, Lalitha Jewellery, Colgate Dental Cream, Goodknight Active Plus and Close Up Ever Fresh at second, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth spots with 13053, 8502, 8262, 8138, 8086, and 6998 insertions respectively.

Petroleum Conservation Research Association retained its third spot with 11,103 insertions.

Vivo V5 Plus and Horlicks moved up to fourth and fifth spots with 10,610 and 8,872 insertions respectively.

 

In the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG firm Hindustan Lever retained its top spot with 1,05,288 insertions.

Reckitt Benckiser India, Super Cassettes Industries, Smithkline Beecham and Colgate Palmolive India moved up to second, third, fourth and seventh spots with 62,128, 26,715, 23,949 and 20,417 insertions, respectively.

Procter & Gamble and Patanjali Ayurved slipped to fifth and sixth spots with 23,553 and 23,356 insertions respectively.

Bharatiya Janata Party and Procter & Gamble Home Products entered the list at eighth and tenth spot with 19,324 and 13,952 insertions respectively.

Cadburys India held on to its ninth spot with its 19,149 insertions.
