Bindass, e4m, FMCC bring The One Show Exhibition for the first time in India

After New York, the celebrated One Show Exhibition, which sets the world advertising industry standard for creative excellence, is coming to India for the first time in a two-day event starting December 11, 2007 in Mumbai. UTV’s new kid on the block, Bindass, alongwith exchange4media Group and advertising, media and communication institute FMCC are bringing the exhibition to India. The One Show Exhibition will feature and celebrate this year’s best advertising work in print, television, radio, outdoor, innovative media and marketing, and integrated branding.

The One Show Exhibition selects the winning works from more than 18,000 entries from 60 countries. Each year a wide variety of work – from multinational advertising giants to small regional shops – is judged by an international jury of award-winning art directors, copywriters and creative directors. The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners were announced at an awards show in New York City. From there, the work becomes part of an international traveling exhibition, making annual stops in Japan, Brazil, China, South Africa and other host cities across the globe.

Sita Laxmi Narayan Swami, Senior VP, Marketing, Bindass, said, “Great ideas are simply the best expression of freedom and since freedom is our core value for Bindass, we are extremely happy to be associated with this prestigious Exhibition that showcases some of the best work in the world.”

Anurag Batra, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, exchange4media, commenting on the eve of The One Show Exhibition, said, “exchange4media has been, through, Pitch and impact, showcasing people and inspiring work in the advertising and marketing communication domain, and our association with One Show in India is in the same direction. I am sure that this work will inspire young leaders in this domain.”

The One Show remains the pinnacle of achievement by providing a showcase of the world’s best work, and by inviting collaboration among individuals that are actively developing outstanding work. What differentiates the One Show from other advertising award shows has always been a consistent and focussed regard for the creative concept. The One Show, simply, is about great ideas.

The two-day Exhibition kicks off on December 11, 2007 at the Cricket Club of India in Mumbai.
