BEI Confluence has won the creative duties of Scientific American India, Harvard Business Review (HBR) and India Today Bangla, following a multi-agency pitch. India Today Group publishes the three magazines.
“BEI Confluence will handle the complete communication and marketing duties for the three magazines. We have plans to take a 360-degree approach as far as the creative is concerned. We are happy to be associated with the India Today Group which is one of the most prestigious Group in India,” said Devraj Basu, COO (India 1), BEI Confluence.
Basu however refused to comment on the size of the business. “This is one of the known and biggest groups, and would have substantial spends for the promotional activities. We would not like to comment on that,” added Basu.
The agency would distinctively use print and television, as well as direct mailers for Scientific American India, while for the promotion for HBR would include a lot of outdoor activities. For India Today Bangla, BTL activities would be undertaken.
“India Today Bangla has been positioned as a national Bengali magazine that gives fodder to the Bengali speaking population for discussions. The current options available to them are limited. So this is the first Bengali news magazine and it would be exciting to work for it,” added Basu.
