Beehive Priority Consultants launched in India

Marketing, business communications and PR consulting group, Priority Consulting, and advertising and design services agency, Beehive Communications, have launched a 50:50 JV called Beehive Priority Consultants Pte Ltd. The JV is a specialist PR and communications firm that will offer 360-degree consultancy services to clients.

Sanjit Shastri, CEO, Beehive Communications, said, "PR in India is only limited to dissemination of press releases. Beehive Priority will advise clients about what they can do and how they can get the best out of their business. India does not need a PR firm that will do what others are doing or even tips on how to talk to clients. What India needs is a firm that understands the responsibility of consultancy and PR and what to talk to clients."

Jane Prior, CEO, Priority Group, said, "Beehive Priority was formed because Indian firms are actively seeking world-class marketing strategies and programmes. With Indian firms such as Tata Group, Mittal Steel, Wipro, Infosys and Satyam becoming household names on the global stage, the demand for sophisticated and best communications services is even more pronounced today."

Arunabho Khan has been roped in as Vice-President and General Manager for the firm. Beehive Priority has offices in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore and will focus predominantly on the B2B sector. The consultancy will support clients in the technology, financial services, tourism and logistics sectors with a range of services that include consulting, PR, business matching and go-to-market planning and implementation.

Shastri said, "Both companies believe that the communications business is rapidly evolving and today there is an urgent need for agencies to provide business consulting services to their customers. By offering their internal staff the opportunity to work in other group offices, they will be exposed to international market experience and practices which is relevant for Indian companies today."

Beehive Priority will also actively use visual mediums like brochures, websites, annual reports and newsletters and offer marketing services like event management, lead generation, direct marketing, email marketing, loyalty programmes and product launches for its clients.
